Counselling with therapeutic walking

Research shows that the biggest health risk in the Western world is not alcohol or cigarettes, but too much sitting, which drastically increases the likelihood of heart attacks and strokes. The saying ‘an hour of walking a day keeps the doctor away’ is gaining in relevance.
Counselling with therapeutic walking can help you to clear your mind, nourish your heart and lungs, while moving your body. This form of counselling may be the perfect solution for you when you feel your body longs for movement outdoors, away from your computer, desk and work environment.

In a session I will use different methods, depending on your needs: physical awareness, energy-work, mindfulness, narrative analysis, solution-focused methods, NLP. Sessions last for one hour.
The meeting point of our therapeutic walking session can be arranged to fit around your work location and schedule.
Presenting issues are varied. Patients suffering from depression, anxiety, separation, bereavement and burnout benefit particularly from this approach.
